Physics:
20+ years experience teaching and tutoring high school & college physics, including College Physics, Conceptual Physics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C (Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism).
Math:
20+ years experience teaching and tutoring high school & college math, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. I have taught Algebra I, Geometry, Pre-calculus, and Calculus up to AP Calculus BC. I have recent experience with college level calculus topics such as vector-defined functions, series, and multivariable calculus.
Engineering: 2 years experience as a components test engineer.
Knowledge of basic circuits (resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, etc.). Experience teaching introduction to digital circuits (logic gates, binary, addition, subtraction, multiplexing, counting, flip-flops, etc.)
Chemistry:
I taught one year of high school Chemistry, and have tutored college and high school students in regular and AP-level Chemistry. I passed the CSET subject exam in Chemistry. That said, it has been a while. If you need help in Chemistry, we can take it one topic at a time.
Into to Philosophy and The Bible for Beginners:
For 10 years, I taught these two courses as high school electives. The Philosophy course focuses primarily on ancient philosophy. The Bible course is not a religion course, but rather an academic walk-though of the most significant parts of the Bible. Either can be adapted to small classes, home-schooling, etc.--whatever your need.
